Electric Adventures is a publisher and developer who publishes books and homebrew games for a wide range of retro console formats. Electric Adventures was established by Tony Cruise in the mid-eighties, initially developing and publishing games for the Spectravideo SV-318 and SV-328.In more recent times, Electronic Adventures have been publishing homebrew titles for retro consoles including the Colecovision and NES.
The two latest games to be published by Electric Adventures are Block’em Sock’em, which is an action puzzle game designed by John Hancock, a well-known retro gaming enthusiast, and in which you destroy blocks by throwing the block you’re holding at blocks of the same color, and Pyxidis Ex, which is a shoot ‘em up in which the aliens from the planet Pyxidis are heading towards Earth with their huge fleet of warships, and Earth’s only hope is you, the world’s most gifted space pilot. But are you good enough to stand up against the alien menace? Pyxidis Ex is the enhanced sequel to Pyxidis, which was Electric Adventures’ biggest selling game of the 1980s.
Both of Electric Adventures’ new games are to be released for Colecovision, Adam, MSX, Spectavideo 318/328 and Sega SG-1000/SC-3000, and they can currently be pre-ordered directly from Electric Adventures’ website.
