Earlier in October, we reported on the incoming release of Passageway of the Ancients battling its way to Steam. The game is out now and the publisher Passageway Games has also released an original soundtrack and a new bundle including both. The bundle price discounts the cost by 15% to $21.23 although the OST can be purchased separately for $4.99.

The game is heavily influenced by classic Dungeons and Dragons RPG titles in the Forgotten Realm franchise including Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights. It uses a mixture of turn-based and real-time gameplay to keep the game flowing and has all the same character progression and equipment to sift through as you’d expect from a deep RPG experience.

However, the game has received some mixed reviews from early Steam players with one experiencing technical difficulties. Another didn’t find Passageway of the Ancients as engaging as others in the genre although there was lots of praise for the plot and the way the story unfolds from several reviewers. It could just be that those who enjoy these types of games get more enjoyment from it. Either way, Passageway of the Ancients certainly looks and sounds the part with this bundle.
