Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – Reforged is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024, following a slight delay from its original September release date. This remastered version of the classic point-and-click adventure game, developed by Revolution Software, was previously released for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms in September 2024.

The Reforged edition brings a variety of enhancements, including beautifully re-drawn 4K backgrounds, re-animated sprites, and enhanced audio. Players can also switch between the original 1996 visuals and the updated graphics at the click of a button. The game retains its iconic narrative, following American tourist George Stobbart as he becomes embroiled in a global conspiracy involving the Knights Templar after witnessing a bombing in Paris.
The Switch version will also include all post-launch fixes and improvements made to the PC version, ensuring a polished experience for players. It will be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop for £24.99/€29.99/$29.99.
