The Pokémon Company Reveals $499 Life-Size Porygon Plush Toy

The Pokémon Company has unveiled a new life-size plush of Porygon, which has caught the attention of fans due to its high price point. The plush is available for pre-order through the Japanese Pokémon Center, priced at 55,000 yen, which is approximately $391.20 USD. However, when it becomes available in the U.S., the price is expected to be around $499.99, making it one of the most expensive Pokémon plush toys ever released, comparable to the cost of a PlayStation 5 console.

This life-size Porygon plush stands at 31.5 inches tall and is designed to match its in-game size according to the Pokédex. It joins a collection of other life-size plushies from The Pokémon Company, including Mareep, Snorlax, and Lucario. The plush has been marketed with creative photoshoots that emphasize its size and potential as a unique addition to any Pokémon fan’s collection.

Despite its hefty price tag, the Porygon plush is generating interest among collectors and fans who appreciate the novelty and nostalgia associated with owning a life-size version of this iconic Pokémon. However, potential buyers should be aware that this is a final sale item with no returns offered.
