Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the soundtracks for the classic games Arc the Lad and Wild Arms will be released digitally in September 2024. These soundtracks will be available on major music streaming platforms such as Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify.
Details of the Soundtrack Releases
- Arc the Lad Soundtracks: The Arc the Lad Sound Track Complete is now accessible on Spotify. This collection includes music from the original 1995 RPG and its sequel, Arc the Lad II, released in 1996. The soundtrack originally came out as a two-disc album.
- Wild Arms Soundtracks: The Wild Arms Complete Tracks album will also be added to digital platforms. This album features music from the original PlayStation RPG, which debuted in Japan in 1996. The music, composed by Michiko Naruke, is known for its blend of American Western themes with electronic instrumentation.
In addition to these, Sony will release soundtracks from other classic titles, including PoPoLoCrois Story, Shadow of the Colossus, and Bloodborne with its DLC The Old Hunters. This move is part of a broader effort to make classic video game music more accessible to fans and new audiences alike.
