Modder @SpadeTheSkele has successfully made the 1999 PC port of Sega Rally 2 compatible with modern computers, enhancing its performance compared to the lower framerate of the Dreamcast version. The updated version features CD audio, controller support, and other enhancements, and runs directly from the original disc rather than being a portable build, as previous versions were.
While this new iteration is expected to perform better than prior releases, Windows 11 users may still face some difficulties.
