Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake Enters Production

Remedy Entertainment has shared its financial results for the quarter ending June 30, reporting a 16.2% increase in sales year-on-year, totaling 11.2 million USD.

In addition, the studio provided updates on several ongoing projects. Notably, Control 2 is now prepared to move into production, while the remake of Max Payne 1 & 2 is already progressing well, with the development team focused on ensuring the game is playable from beginning to end.

This will likely be Remedy’s next major release following Alan Wake 2. Interestingly, it was also mentioned that Alan Wake 2 has not yet generated any royalties for the studio.

Furthermore, updates on Project Condor, the multiplayer spin-off of Control, indicate steady progress. The team has successfully designed multiple maps and mission types, and both internal and external testing has been conducted.
