Kev Edwards has recently uncovered more undisclosed game development history, this time surrounding an unreleased NES successor to Jetpac called Plasma0. The game was developed by Paul Proctor, a friend of Edwards known for adapting titles like Sabre Wulf, Alien 8, and Knight Lore for the BBC Micro. Plasma0 offers a side-scrolling update to Jet Pac, where players control an astronaut navigating an alien world horizontally, avoiding enemy fire and collecting spaceship parts for their escape. Edwards shared a short video showcasing the gameplay, shedding light on this intriguing piece of gaming history.
