Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon: Classic N64 Game Now Available on PC

The release of N64Recomp earlier this year has sparked a rise in recompiling projects, with Majora’s Mask heading to PC generating excitement among Zelda fans and PC gamers. N64Recomp has the potential to unlock the entire N64 library for modern users, as seen in a video on Pirat_Nation showcasing progress in this mission. A PC port of Mystical Ninja starring Goeman, a beloved N64 game, has been developed by ‘Klorfmorf‘ with 60fps and widescreen support.

Many users on the Ganbare Goemon Discord Server have shared pictures of the game running on the Steam Deck, reflecting the modern hardware compatibility. To play this port, users must provide their own ROM files from the Japanese release, as it only works with that version for now. The port’s availability and updates offer a nostalgic yet enhanced gaming experience for players revisiting this classic title.

The Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon recompilation currently only functions with the Japanese ROM of the game. Still, it’s highly recommended for those who are already acquainted with the game.
