Orochi, a Japanese Famicom fan, recently posted a video on YouTube showcasing the unreleased sequel to the Japan-exclusive game, Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti. The sequel, titled Splatter World, was created for the Famicom with plans for a 1993 release in Japan, but unfortunately, it never made it to the shelves. Orochi obtained the footage from a VHS tape that was given to retailers at the end of 1992 to promote the game in stores. The existence of Splatter World was hinted at in a Namco Museum of Art video on Splatterhouse in 2021. The Splatterhouse fansite, West Mansion, also shared their thoughts on this exciting discovery.
