Following its successful release on Steam in September 2024, 9th Dawn Remake will come to consoles and mobile from April 24th, 2025. The new port will be available on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox from the launch day, with iOS and Android available from the 1st May, 2025.
Like the original title, 9th Dawn Remake is a massive open-world RPG where players can spend 70+ hours completing the main and side quests, collecting rare loot, and raising monster pets. Bursting at the seams with dungeon-crawling hijinks, 9th Dawn Remake lovingly riffs on the original 9th Dawn game, revamping the combat and streamlining quests to deliver a novel, exhilarating 9th Dawn experience.
9th Dawn Remake on console and mobile will include all the content in the Steam version, from monster pets and dungeons to the two mini-games, Fishing Survivors and Deck Rock. The mobile ports for iOS and Android support two players online, while the console and Steam feature both local and online co-op. 9th Dawn Remake has also been localised into Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese across all platforms.
9th Dawn Remake also includes two mini-games. In the comedic fishing mini-game Fishing Survivors, the number of fish players defeated directly affects the fishing yield, making for a fun time with the fishies. Fishing Survivors also features several different missions that are locked behind overworld map exploration, along with a couple of extra worm warriors to unlock.
Players can also enjoy Deck Rock – a deck-building card mini-game that was inspired by Slay the Spire and Roguebook. Taking control of medieval paper champions, players are tasked with beating game dungeons using the maps found in the main campaign. This turn-based strategy game provides countless hours of fun while players unlock all cards, level up paper champions, and complete dungeons.
