Four more SNES games are set to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service in March’s update. The SNES games to be added this month have been confirmed and dated, and for March, all four titles to be added to the service are strategy games.
Here on Retro News, we like to keep you updated on the retro games that get added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, previously reporting on the addition of SNES games such as of Fatal Fury 2, Super Ninja Boy, and Sutte Hakkun.
However, he four SNES games to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service this month are:
Nobunaga’s Ambition, a turn-based strategy game, the SNES version of which was originally released in 1993 by Koei.
Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness, a sequel to the previous game that was originally released by Koei for SNES in 1994.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire, a turn-based strategy game released for SNES by Koei in 1994.
Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, which is an action strategy game originally published on SNES by – you guessed it – Koei – also in the year 1994.
All four of these SNES games will hit the Nintendo Switch Online service one week today, on March 28, 2025, so be prepared to get your brain and thumbs into strategic thinking mode (in a retro 90s style, of course!)
